Although he
grew up in Stephenville, Texas, the Flat Rock Creek Ranch played a significant role for
Edward "Eddie" Cude as his family visited it often throughout his childhood.
They spent many nights in the original ranch house, which was constructed in 1891, and
still stands today, with their days consisting of swimming in the creek, fishing at one of
the ponds, or honing their marksman skills in one of the pastures.
Eddie and Becca Cude met when she
moved to Stephenville from Midland, Texas in October, 2004. Over the next couple of years,
they visited the ranch every chance they could, and began planning to relocate there
permanently. In June, 2007, they finally decided to move to the ranch full time.
In June, 2008, upon the arrival
of their daughter, Eddie and Becca began exploring the opportunities the ranch had to
offer. After countless hours of brainstorming and researching, and many recommendations
from family and friends, they decided to convert the ranch to a day hunting facility.
Beginning September, 2010, they are pleased to extend you an invitation to visit the Flat
Rock Creek Ranch and experience what hunting and southern hospitality are all about!
